Harris Golf Cars Certified Pre-Owned Warranty Statement for Qualified Pre-Owned and Reconditioned Cars
Gas Golf Cars (2017 – Present):
Harris Golf Cars offers a two-year warranty on qualified (Model Year 2017 or Newer) YAMAHA pre-owned and reconditioned gas cars unless stated otherwise at the time of sale. This warranty includes all electrical components, motor/engine and drive train. This warranty does not include batteries or anything resulting from negligence or damage. Harris Golf Cars reserves the right to decide what constitutes negligence or damage.
In order to receive the full two-year warranty, you will be required to schedule a tune up within 30 days of the first anniversary date of your purchase. The standard tune-up fee will be charged. If you cannot bring the car to a Harris Golf Cars location for this tune-up, we can schedule an on-site tune-up; however, a service call fee will be charged and will depend on the distance from the nearest Harris Golf Cars location. If the golf car is not tuned up by a Harris Golf Cars service technician within this time frame, the second year of the warranty will not be recognized.
The addition of aftermarket parts and accessories that are not installed by an authorized Harris Yamaha repair shop may void this warranty.

Harris Golf Cars offers a one-year warranty on qualified (Model Year 2010 – 2016) YAMAHA pre-owned and reconditioned gas cars unless stated otherwise at the time of sale. This warranty includes all electrical components, motor/engine and drive train. This warranty does not include batteries or anything resulting from negligence or damage. Harris Golf Cars reserves the right to decide what constitutes negligence or damage.

Electric Golf Cars (2017 – Present):
Harris Golf Cars offers a one-year warranty on YAMAHA pre-owned and reconditioned electric golf cars with NEW BATTERIES unless stated otherwise at the time of sale. This warranty is only valid if Harris Golf Cars installs NEW batteries on the vehicle at the time of sale.
Electric Golf Cars (2010 – 2016):
Harris Golf Cars offers a 90-day warranty on any YAMAHA electric golf car sold with used batteries unless stated otherwise at the time of the sale. This warranty does EXCLUDE THE BATTERIES as well as negligence or damage. Harris Golf Cars reserves the right to decide what constitutes negligence or damage. Electric golf car controllers are not covered under this warranty if they are damaged due to lightning strikes or power surges.
Electric Golf Cars (2009 & Previous)
Harris Golf Cars offers a 30-day warranty on any YAMAHA electric golf car sold with new or used batteries model year 2009 and previous unless stated otherwise at the time of the sale. This warranty does EXCLUDE THE BATTERIES as well as negligence or damage. Harris Golf Cars reserves the right to decide what constitutes negligence or damage. Electric golf car controllers are not covered under this warranty if they are damaged due to lightning strikes or power surges.
Owner’s Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain the golf car (and charger, if you have an electric golf car) as specified in the appropriate owner’s manual.
- Give Harris Golf Cars notice of any and all apparent defects within 7 days after discovery and make the vehicle or charger available at that time for inspection and/or repairs by our representative.
- For gas golf car warranty coverage, schedule the required tune-up to be performed by Harris Golf Cars within 30 days of the first anniversary date of your purchase of a gas golf car.
- Review the applicable battery maintenance requirements and battery maintenance forms with your Harris Golf Cars sales representative at the time of purchase. Follow all recommended battery maintenance procedures and retain completed maintenance documentation as required for warranty coverage.
- Failure to properly maintain the golf car, charger, or batteries in accordance with the applicable owner’s manual and maintenance requirements may affect warranty coverage.
