Full-Time Service Coordinator/Billing Specialist (Sign-On/Retention Bonus)

Job Summary: This position is two-fold: Service Coordinator and Service Billing Specialist. As a Service Coordinator, you will work directly with customers to provide quality service as part of the Harris Team to ensure our customers receive the services needed in a timely and organized fashion. As a Service Billing Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the service billing process for our customers in a timely and accurate manner.

General Requirements: 
• 1-3 years of industry experience related to customer service, scheduling and billing.
• Strong team member with positive attitude and persistence to excel.
• Able to assess the service needs of our customers and provide direction for service team in resolving customer issues.
• Strong communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening.
• Proven superior customer service skills, including interpersonal conversations, patience and flexibility.
• Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Strong organization, time management, prioritization and follow through skills a must
• Answer telephone and respond to customer needs timely and professionally.
• Effective and accurate computer skills needed to perform lookup and create/maintain service orders.
• Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel & MS Word, in particular)
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities: Review work orders for complete and accurate information. Determine work order requirements and priority. Communicate those requirements with Shop and Parts managers. Process daily work orders, billing and warranty claims in a timely and accurate fashion. Maintain service board daily and report variances as needed with appropriate team members. Present as primary point of contact for all service for internal and external Harris customers. Ensure customer is given the necessary services and follow up to fill their ongoing service needs. Monitor customer service contracts and equipment inspections in timely fashion to insure our equipment, as well as that of our customer, is meeting expectations. Identify and implement process improvements to improve the customer experience as well as improve overall efficiency. Scheduling delivery of private retail customer’s cars Conduct customer survey and report results to management team. Full-Time Parts Manager/Service Assistant (Sign-On/Retention Bonus)

Job Summary: Harris Golf Cars is a 40-year-old family owned regional golf car distributor for Yamaha golf cars and utility vehicles. We are looking for reliable, team-oriented professionals to add to our staff. Prior office experience and general mechanical service a plus.

General Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in auto/small engines and mechanical knowledge of engines and electrical a plus.
• Clean driving history with knowledge of pulling trailers a plus. Will train the right person to pull a trailer.
• Must be willing to work 40 – 50 hours per week.
• Must have good organizational, multitasking and reasonable computer skills.

Target Responsibilities:
• Managing the parts inventory, placing orders, shipping orders, receipt orders, inventory control.
• Assist in office operations and procedures such as managing parts phone calls, taking order and collecting information on customers service needs.
• Filling over-the-counter orders.
• Assist in maximizing office productivity through proficient use of appropriate software applications.

Full-Time Parts Manager (Sign-On/Retention Bonus)
Facility:
Harris Golf Cars – Dubuque, IA

Job Summary: This position is responsible for managing the parts counter and inventory at 3 locations as well as placing orders with all parts vendors and overseeing all shipping & receiving.

Responsibilities: Order, receive and stock parts in correct bin, keeping a clean and orderly department. Analyze stocking needs, establishing gross margins, knowing and using manufacturers programs for data, returns, ordering and warranty filing.  Responsible for the profitability of the parts department and supervision of parts counter person. The parts manager would also be responsible for training of staff on all policies, procedures and computer systems. Continually demonstrate excellent communication skills with employees and customers, providing customers with great customer service. Demonstrate excellent computer skills for basic clerical duties, purchase orders, price filing, internet, online ordering and credit filing.  Managing the requirements of internal and external parts needs and facilitating transfer of inventory between locations accurately and efficiently. Monitor backorders and investigate alternative suppliers and products.  Establish and supervise cycle counts and full physical inventory as necessary at all locations.

Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Must have 5+ years parts management experience in a retail environment and excellent mechanical aptitude. Knowledge of two- and four-cycle engines is required. Know Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook. Familiar with POS systems and online parts lookups, adequate product knowledge and understand unit pricing.  Attention to detail, multi-tasking, and timely follow up with internal and external customers.

Job Summary: This position is responsible for general mechanical service on electrical and gasoline golf cars. This position is the main mobile/road service technician during peak season and works in the shop during the winter months.

Semi Driver, Full-Time (Sign-On/Retention Bonus)

Job Summary:  Every golf car detail matters to us, including transporting. This position is responsible for transporting golf cars, turf vehicles to and from golf course and store locations. Delivering Parts and Golf Cars to dealers throughout the Midwest. You will be required to work on weekends and some holidays throughout the Spring, Summer, & Fall months. Some overnight stays will be required as well.

Responsibilities: Make deliveries or pickups from customers.  Perform log keeping and be able to read maps and trip sheets. Report to manager/ service writer. Keep tractor and trailer clean. Load and unload the trailers safely.

Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED), CDL class A license with clean driving history. Pass CDL drug test and must have a CDL medical exam card. Keep current on DOT regulations.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to load and unload trucks. Inspect vehicles supplies and equipment. The employee is frequently required to crouch, kneel and climb. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
